In just his second season leading the Oregon women's volleyball program, head coach Jim Moore guided the Ducks out of the Pacific-10 Conference cellar and established the team as a contender for the present and future, and in doing so became the first coach in the program's history to be voted Pac-10 Coach of the Year by his peers in 2006. Last year Oregon clinched its first winning season since 1990, tied for sixth in the Pac-10 (its best finish since 1989) and also advanced to the first round of the NCAA tournament for the first time in nearley two decades. The core group from last year's record-breaking crop returns to McArthur Court along with some key additions and a new attitude for Oregon Volleyball. |
