Pearch Seeded Highest for Pac-10 Tourney.

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. -- Senior Justin Pearch (24-8) is the highest seeded Duck heading into the first round of the Pac-10 Tournament after seeds and the bracket were announced today. Pearch will be the second seed in the 141 lbs. bracket and will take on Arizona State's Robert Galvan to start the tournament, which begins Friday morning at the Icardo Center on the campus of Cal State Bakersfield.
Ryan Dunn (19-11) will be the fourth seed in the 125 lbs. bracket and face UC Davis' Marcus Orozco in the first round. In their first meeting, Dunn picked up the 4-3 decision victory.
Joey Lucas (14-15) will open the tournament facing Cal State Fullerton's T. J. Dillashaw, after being seeded fourth in the 133 lbs. bracket. Earlier in the year, Dillashaw faced Pearch at the 133 lbs. spot and Pearch was forced to withdraw with injury.
Coming off of a broken leg, Ronnie Lee (16-14) parlayed his partial season resume' into the fifth seed in the 174 lbs. bracket and will wrestle Stanford's Luke Feist in his opening bout.
Chris Dearmon (18-11) is the only other seeded Duck as he picked up the sixth seed in the heavyweight division and will open the tournament against Cal Poly's Cody Parker. Parker is a former Duck who Dearmon missed a shot at earlier in the year when Poly visited Eugene as he was held out of the lineup.
