Scouting Boise State: Boise State made a huge jump in the polls this week after handing then-No. 38 New Mexico their first loss of the season and also defeating No. 65 Kansas State. The Broncos have been led by the bottom of their lineup this year, with the lower three positions combining for a 19-2 record in dual matches.
Senior Tiffany Coll is undefeated on the year from the No. 5 nd No. 6 positions while Stacey Houseley is 6-1 playing all her matches save one out of the No. 4 position. Klaudia Wlodarczyk also has tasted defeat only once playing in the bottom half.
Boise State’s No. 1 position has been in a bit of flux recently as senior Polina Kokoulina and freshman Bianca Jochimsen have split time at the top, combining for a 5-9 record in the top two spots.
