Student Tickets Sales for NCAA Tournament Limited to 55

EUGENE, Ore. — Student tickets for the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament will go on sale Tuesday morning at 9 a.m. at the Autzen Stadium South Ticket Building. Sales are restricted to one ticket per student and will be available only to the first 55 students.
Those who want to purchase tickets, priced at $56 for Oregon’s first round game versus Miami of Ohio, MUST present their valid UO student ID Tuesday, and then MUST present their valid UO student ID at the Spokane Arena on Friday to receive a ticket to the game. Tickets are nontransferable. Should Oregon win, students will be charged an additional $56 for Sunday’s second round game, and will again need to present their valid UO student ID at the Spokane Arena.
The 55 tickets set aside for UO students represents 10 percent of Oregon’s total allotment -- 550 -- for the Spokane games. That is also the same percentage of seats Oregon students receive for football games at Autzen Stadium.
In addition, the UO athletic ticket office is working to secure more tickets for all fans, though any tickets returned by other institutions playing in Spokane will only be guaranteed for Friday’s opening round game. Any information on additional ticket availability will be announced as soon as possible on www.goducks.com.
Duck Athletic Fund members who were eligible to purchase tickets were notified last week. At this point, the University of Oregon does not anticipate having a ticket sale for the general public.
