Cook Named GoDucks.com Student-Athlete of the Week
Junior Alicia Cook has been named GoDucks.com's Student-Athlete of the Week for the week of March 18th to March 24th.
In two starts last week the Elmira, Ore. native struck out 11 batters and allowed only one earned run in 10 innings. Her performance last week was highlighted by a perfect game against Idaho State, the second of her career and the only the second in the history of Oregon Softball.
On the season Cook has struck out a team-high 86 batters and has amassed an impressive 0.77 ERA.
The Ducks will open up Pac-10 play this weekend whey they play host to California and Staford.
