Wednesday's Softball Doubleheader Canceled Due to Poor Field Conditions

PORTLAND - Wednesday’s scheduled college softball doubleheader between Portland State and No. 13 Oregon has been canceled due to inclement weather and current wet field conditions. The twinbill was scheduled for 1 p.m., at Erv Lind Stadium.
The two schools have now shortened their scheduled four-game season series down to a two-game set. Portland State will travel to Howe Field in Eugene on Wednesday, April 18, while Oregon will visit Erv Lind Stadium on Wednesday, May 2. Both games will have a 4 p.m. start time.
The Ducks now turn their focus to Pac-10 action, which begins this weekend at Howe Field. First up for Oregon is California, scheduled for a 3 p.m. start time on Friday, March 30. No. 11 Stanford visits Eugene on Saturday and Sunday with both games scheduled 1 p.m. start times.
