Nationally Ranked Washington and UCLA On Tap for No. 10 Oregon

On The Horizon:
Oregon welcomes 12th-ranked Washington and 14th-ranked UCLA to Howe Field this weekend. It is the final weekend of what was a five-week home stretch for the 10th-ranked Ducks. This weekend series will mark the final Pacific-10 games to played at Howe Field in the month of April.
The Ducks still have a single game with Portland State remaining for Wed., Feb. 18, before visiting Arizona State, Arizona, Oregon State, UCLA and Washington to end the month on the road.
Oregon and the Pac-10 will return to Howe Field on Fri., May 4, hosting Arizona.
Air Time
For the second straight weekend, the Ducks’ Friday series opener against the Huskies will televised on CNW 14 with Joe Giansante and Rob Closs on the broadcast. Start time is set for 4 p.m., and as always, www.GoDucks.com will provide an online video broadcast on the O-Zone as well as live stats. Saturday’s and Sunday’s games against UCLA, set for 1 p.m. starts, will also be broadcast on the O-Zone Terry Jonz providing the commentary in a simulcast with KUGN radio. Live stats will also be provided.
Weekend Promotions
During this upcoming weekend the Ducks will be offering reduced ticket prices courtesy of Bi-Mart. Saturday’s game against UCLA will be a Bi-Mart Family Day, show your Bi-Mart card at the Howe Field ticket window and two adults and unlimited kids will be admitted for $10.
It’s the Pac-10
Fourth-ranked Arizona has jumped out as the early front runner in the Pac-10 with a 4-1 conference record after back-to-back, 1-0, victories over rival Arizona State in Tucson. Trailing the defending national champions are 10th-ranked Oregon and 16th-ranked Oregon State. The instate rivals split their first two games of the Civil War series with the deciding game set for Wed., April 25 in Corvallis. Stanford, ranked 17th in the nation, lost 2-of-3 to Cal last weekend, falling to 3-3 in conference. No. 8 Arizona State sits with a 2-3 Pac-10 record after dropping its last three games all by 1-0 scores. UCLA, currently ranked 14th nationally, is also 2-3 in the conference along with 12th-ranked Washington. The programs split two games in Westwood, Calif., last weekend with the Bruins getting the 10-6 victory in the first game, before the Huskies rebounded with an 8-6 win in game two. Cal, who started 0-3 in the first weekend of action, rebounded to take 2-of-3 from the Cardinal, improving to 2-4.
