Bradley Named MPSF Player of the Week; Denver Match to be Webcast

WOODLAND, Calif. – Junior attacker Jana Bradley has been named Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Player of the Week, commissioner Al Beaird announced Tuesday. The Encinitas, Calif., native recorded two hat tricks over the weekend, leading the Ducks to two huge conference wins.
Bradley's three goals against California came in pouring rain and helped the Ducks to their first-ever win on the road against California as they defeated the Golden Bears, 16-10.
Against Saint Mary's, Bradley scored two of the goals in the nine goal Oregon run to open the game and tallied her third of the game with 12:08 remaining in the second half as the Ducks rolled to he victory over the Gaels, 15-7.
The six goals accounts for one-third of her season total (18) and one-fourth of her season points to date (24). Bradley finished last year with 34 goals and 41 total points.
The award is the second of the year for an Oregon player as sophomore Ilsa van den Berg was awarded the accolade after her performance in the Ducks upset of then-No. 16 Stanford to open the season.
With their victories over the weekend, the Ducks (11-5) remained undefeated in conference play (4-0) and have a chance to win the first regular season conference title outright this weekend when they face the Denver Pioneers.
The Pioneers are currently ranked 17th in the nation and are also undefeated in the conference with a 3-0 conference record and a 12-2 overall record.
While the match marks the final regular season tilt for the Ducks, the Pioneers still must face California to close out the season.
The match will take place on Saturday, April 21, at Noon. Fans can watch the match for free via the Pioneers website by clicking the "watch" link on the following page:
