2007 Overnight Camp
July 8-11, 2007
For middle school and high school girls (ages 8-18). Run by Division I players & coaches. Designed for the all skill levels. Intense instruction & training will develop skills & techniques to improve your overall game to an even higher level. Focus on stick work, shooting, offensive and defensive play and the basic concepts of the game. Sessions will consist of a variety of drills & games to learn strategies & techniques. Campers will be divided into age groups and experience levels for session & team play. Teams will compete for camp tournament title throughout the three days. The atmosphere will be intense, fun & energetic.
Check in will be Sunday, July 8th, 3 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. Checkout will be July 11th at Noon. Cancellations made before June 20th will be fully refunded. After June 20th, cancellations will have a $50 processing fee.

Jen Larsen ? UO Head Coach Jen Larsen became the first head coach for women's lacrosse at Oregon in July 2003 and led the Ducks into intercollegiate competition in 2005. She served for three years as an assistant coach at the University of North Carolina in charge of recruiting and defense, where she helped run their summer camps. The Tar Heels advanced to the 2002 NCAA Final Four and won the ACC crown that same year. Larsen was a two-sport star at the University of Virginia, captaining both the lacrosse and field hockey teams. Larsen helped Virginia win the national title in 1993.

Robert Bray ? UO Assistant Coach Robert Bray joined the Oregon women’s lacrosse team in August of 2003 as the program’s first assistant coach. Bray spent four seasons (2000-03) as head coach at St. Mary’s College of Maryland (NCAA Division III) after serving as an assistant with the men’s program there from 1992-99. As the women’s head coach, he directed the team to a 52-18 overall record, including three consecutive NCAA Tournament appearances. Bray worked with eight All-Americans and 22 all-conference players during his head-coaching tenure as well as three CoSIDA/Verizon Academic All-Americans.

Beth Ames ? UO Assistant Coach Coach Beth Ames is the program’s graduate assistant coach. She lettered for four years for North Carolina and received third-team All-America honors from the Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association, U.S. Lacrosse and womenslacrosse.com. The team captain also was an All-ACC and ACC Tourney pick as well as the team’s MVP. In high school, Ames was a two-time All-America selection at Liverpool High School in Liverpool, N.Y. | |
