Oregon Women?s Soccer Announces Spring Schedule

EUGENE, Ore. ? The Oregon women’s soccer team will play exhibitions versus national powers Portland, Stanford and Santa Clara during it spring season, head coach Tara Erickson announced Tuesday.
The Ducks, coming off a record-setting 12-6-2 campaign (6-1-2 in the Pac-10) will open the spring season April 14 at Portland with a 2 p.m. game at Merlo Field.
Then it’s a trip to the Bay Area for an April 26 game at Stanford, followed by mini-games in the Stanford Tournament on April 28. The Ducks will play 50-minute games versus Santa Clara, San Francisco and Stanford, followed by a championship round that night.
Oregon will then play at Oregon State on May 4, prior to the only home game of the spring slate, a May 12 exhibition versus the Seattle Sounders, a semi-pro team. The game against the Sounders will start at 2 p.m. at Pape’ Field.
