UO Signee Shines in All-Star Game
PORTLAND, Ore. -- University of Oregon recruit Nia Jackson led her Washington girls team to a 104-60 rout of Oregon's prep all-star team in the Les Schwab Northwest Shootout on April 1 at Chiles Center.
Jackson, a senior at Seattle's Chief Sealth High School, scored a game-high 17 points and added seven rebounds and five steals.
The 5-7 guard is one of four prep players committed to join the Ducks next season.
Oregon recently wrapped up a 17-14 campaign, advancing to the third round of the 2007 Postseason WNIT.
