Noble Named GoDucks.com Student-Athlete of the Week

Oregon sophomore Rebekah Noble has been named GoDucks.com's Student-Athlete of the Week for the week of April 1st to April 7th.
In the 1,500m, Noble led a 1-2 Duck finish (4:22.25) with her second-fastest time ever and another regional qualifier and bested a Husky All-American and another UW NCAA veteran. She also ran a leg on UO’s 4x400m (second, 3:36.07) with its first regional qualifier in the event in ’07 (3:36.07). That time was UO’s third-fastest ever and the program’s fastest time since 1996 (3:36.79). The returning NCAA runner-up entered the meet ranked third nationally in the 1,500m thanks to her seven-second personal best the previous weekend in the Stanford Invitational (4:17.53), and she also ranked third nationally in the 800m with her season debut in the Oregon Preview (2:04.74). She also claimed her second straight NCAA indoor runner-up finish indoors in the 800m in March.
