Oregon Softball to Gather for Selection Show on Sunday

EUGENE, Ore. - The University of Oregon Softball team will gather at noon in the Pittman room on Sunday to watch the 2007 Selection Show on ESPNews and await to hear where they will be headed for the Regionals.
Fans are welcome to join the coaching staff and players on Sunday as they find out their first postseason destination. The Ducks are scheduled to return to Eugene on Saturday night after playing their last regular season games at Stanford (Thur., 7 p.m.) and California (Fri., 1 p.m. and Sat., 11:30 a.m.)
Fans can follow those games with live stats provided on www.GoDucks.com.
Regionals are scheduled from Fri., May 18- Sun., May 20, with 16 different sites hosting.
Oregon has advanced to the postseason three times in the last four years, missing out last season.
Oregon enters this weekend with a record of 40-16 overall, the second time in her career at Oregon that head coach Kathy Arendsen has reached the 40-win plateau.
