NCAA Champs Share Victory with Jaquas

EUGENE, Ore. -- Long-time supporters of Oregon track and field John and Robin Jaqua and their family hosted a rather special guest at their Coburg Hills home recently -- the 2008 NCAA Cross Country championship trophy.
Members of the Ducks' 2008 NCAA Championship team shared the NCAA trophy, along with Oregon's third-straight Pac-10 trophy, with the Jaquas during a recent visit.

Ardent fans of the Oregon track and field program, the Jaquas have been fixtures in the Hayward Field grandstands for many years. Along with their neighbors, Bill and Barbara Bowerman, the Jaquas helped established the reputation for Track Town, USA, and paved the way for the the city to host Olympic Trials and NCAA Championships. Their continued generosity has helped ensure that Eugene will remain Track Town, USA, for all future generations.
