Broncos Lead Pac-10 Champs First Session
EUGENE - Boise State University led the team standings in the first of two Pac-10 Championships rounds Sunday, hosted by UO at Mac Court.
The Broncos scored 86 points, and were followed by Cal State Fullerton (second, 59), Oregon State (third, 55), Stanford (fourth, 54 1/2), Arizona State (fifth, 52 1/2), Cal State Bakersfield (sixth, 49 1/2), Cal Poly (seventh, 48 1/2), UC Davis (eighth, 47 1/2), Oregon (ninth, 44 1/2) and Portland State (10th, 17).
All 10 top seeds won their opening round matches - Stanford's Tanner Gardner (125), Fullerton's Tyler Dillashaw (133) and Morgan Atkinson (149), Cal Poly's Chad Mendes (141) and Chase Pami (157), Arizona State's Patrick Pitsch (165) and Jason Trulson (197), and Boise State's Nathan Lee (174), Kirk Smith (184) and Nick Smith (285).
