Duck-Beaver Softball Finale Rescheduled
CORVALLIS - The University of Oregon and Oregon State season softball finale, originally scheduled for Saturday, April 19, will be rescheduled for Wednesday, April 23 at 4 p.m.
The Beavers announced the game switch after it rained noticeably the previous night, and Saturday's cold, rainy conditions were transitioning into storms throughout the Willamette Valley.
Looking ahead to later next week, UO (28-20, 1-9) has its final road Pac-10 road games at returning national champion and No. 7 Arizona, Friday, April 25 at 7 p.m., and at No. 1 Arizona State, Saturday-Sunday, April 26-27 at 7 p.m. and noon, respectively.
The Ducks return home for their final seven games of the regular season, spread over two weekends.
UO first hosts No. 8 Stanford (Friday, May 2, 4 p.m.) and No. 22 California (Saturday, May 3, 1 p.m.; Sunday, May 4, Noon).
The final weekend, Howe Field welcomes No. 4 UCLA (Thursday, May 8, 4 p.m.) and No. 20 Washington (Friday, May 9, 1:30 and 4 p.m.; Saturday, May 10, 1:30 p.m.).
