9 Innings with Mel Krause Available on DVD
9 Innings with Mel Krause - "A Celebration of Life" - is being made available on DVD per the wishes of the inspirational ex-Oregon baseball coach.
The event, hosted by Oregon Athletics, took place on Saturday, April 19, in the Club Room at Autzen Stadium. Krause, who has been diagnosed with terminal leukemia, was the guest of honor for a touching tribute that featured nine speakers from each era of his life and concluded with remarks from the man himself.
The DVD videos can be purchased for $20, with all proceeds to benefit Oregon Baseball. In addition, a limited number of Oregon logo baseballs signed by Mel are available for supporters who donate $100 or more to the program through the Duck Athletic Fund.
