Oregon Heads To Arizona For More Pac-10 Action

QUICK HITS
Oregon (11-9, 0-2) travels down south for two Pac-10 duals this week. The Ducks are looking to battle back after suffering two 1-6 conference losses to No. 4 USC and then-No. 6 UCLA. Sophomore Geoff Embry’s eight-match winning streak was snapped on Saturday in the loss to the Trojans, but one more victory (9-6) would put him at double digits for the year. Currently the Ducks have three players with double-digit singles records, led by sophomore Alex Cornelissen (11-9), Romeo Mortera (11-6) and Francisco Gallardo (10-10).
This week the Ducks travel to Arizona State (12-2, 0-2) and Arizona (10-7, 0-2). Both Arizona programs had trouble in their respective opening weekend of Pac-10 action, as the No. 65 Wildcats and the No. 22 Sun Devils lost duals at No. 25 Stanford and No. 31 Cal.
