Oregon - Lewis and Clark postgame quotes

Oregon 74, Lewis and Clark 59 (11/08/2009)
LeKendric Longmire – Jr., G
On starting the season: "Yes, I can’t wait to actually put last year behind us and the best way to do that is go 3 and 0 this weekend."
On the group: "This group is ready, we come to practice ready to work. Everyone wants to play so the competition is really high with everyone one wanting to work for a spot."
On his role: "Be able to do everything. I want to work on my passing and rebounding. I can score the ball, but I want to be the guy who can get that rebound or those assists."
Malcom Armstead – So. G
On defending opponent's two guards: “It’s going to be hard but yeah, I can do it.”
On team chemistry: “I feel more comfortable on the offensive end, but need to turn it up on the defensive end. I’d say team chemistry has been our biggest improvement. Two games under our belt we can see what guys can do and what they can't do."
On his play: “I’d say I was taking what they gave me, found open teammates, they made jumpers. Making the extra pass and rewarding them for being open."
On first game and preparation: "First game, come out set the tone. I feel like I’m a part of last year's team. Not a practice goes on that we don’t talk about last year. That really comes from our vocal leaders Tajuan and Joevan Catron. If your not doing your job their going tell you about it."
