Duck Feed: Pro Day Set for Thursday

Pro Day Set for Thursday
Tuesday, March 10, 9:00 a.m. PT
With the 2009 NFL Draft less than seven weeks away, little time remains for pro scouts to uncover and assess talent, and for players to impress their potential suitors. One opportunity for the two sides to interact is Oregon's annual Pro Day, which takes place on Thursday.
Players will go through the same physical drills that take place at the NFL Scouting Combine. It's a chance for players who were not invited to the combine to make an impression and for those who did work out in Indianapolis to attempt to better their results.
Most of the Ducks who attended last month's combine are expected to work out, with the exception being Jairus Byrd, who is nursing a groin injury. Several other graduated (or graduating) seniors will be at Pro Day, including All-America Nick Reed.
Unlike past years, Oregon's Pro Day is closed to the public and the media.Bookmark From the Press Box or subscribe to an RSS Feed for From the Press Box Blogs
