Oregon Football Player Organizes Clinic

350 BOYS AND GIRLS grades first through eighth visited Autzen Stadium on Saturday, March 7th for a football clinic coordinated by the University of Oregon football team. Senior, Ra’Shon Harris, organized the project with assistance from teammate Cole Linehan. Over 20 football players volunteered on the day.
The clinic gave all participants the opportunity to actively partake in numerous position drills. The members of the football team signed autographs afterwards.
“It was a great experience for everyone. We as Oregon Ducks strive to support and work with the local community,” Harris said.
The clinic was free of charge, but asked for canned food donations to support Food for Lane County. Harris coordinated the clinic as part of a senior project. He enjoys working with children and hopes to pursue a career in the field.
