Mulkey Adds Nine to Team Stunts Roster
Oregon Team Stunts and Gymnastics head coach Felecia Mulkey announced the signing of nine student-athletes to financial aid agreements for the 2009-10 academic year.
Lacy Allen, Marly Campos, Shayna Crow, Ashley Dawson, Charity Dotson, Michelle Gawlik, Kimberly Lopez, Devyn Thornton, Mercedez Toles have all signed with the Ducks. Current Oregon student Morgan O'Donnell will also join the Oregon Team Stunts and Gymnastics squad next year as a walk-on in the squad's inaugural season as a varsity sport.
"The talent of these student-athletes will enable us to not only compete right away, but also be successful next season," said Mulkey. "Their work ethic and attitude, both on and off the mat, will allow us to continue to build this program the right way."
The ten incoming Ducks will join Grace Kuo, Britta LeBlanc, Tori Mayard and Jordan Potter on the roster.
The Ducks now have 14 student-athletes ready to compete next season and Mulkey said she expects at least twice that amount in September.
“To me, this is a lot more than building a team for next year," Mulkey added. "It is about building a foundation for a program that will routinely challenge for national championships for years and years to come."
