Walker's Pace: Ducks Still Ranked 1-2, Oregon Relays Schedule Finalized

Ducks Still Ranked 1-2, Oregon Relays Schedule Finalized
Wednesday, April 22, 6:00 p.m. PDT
It took a bit of alchemy, divine intervention and maybe a crowbar to squeeze in an event or two, but the schedule for this week's Oregon Relays, presented by Oregon Community Credit Union, is now complete.

Jamming nearly 2,000 competitors into two extremely full days of events is no small task, but the result is a meet unlike any other Oregon hosts. It is literally a carnival of wall-to-wall track and field action that ranges from the high school level to the Olympic level and every stop in between.

Meanwhile, the Oregon track and field teams continue to rank first and second in the latest USTFCCCA polls. That's the third straight week that the men have been ranked No. 1 and the women No. 2. The top six teams remained the same in the men's poll, with Oregon followed by Texas A&M, Arkansas, Florida, Florida State and Louisiana State. Texas A&M remained No. 1 in the women's poll, followed by the Ducks, LSU, Virginia Tech, Arizona State and USC.
