Awesome Weather + Free Pizza = Track-rific Day for the Pepsi Meet

Looks like an incredible spring day is in store for the Pepsi Team Invitational on Saturday. Here's the official word from Bobby Corser, President of the American Meteorological Society, Oregon Chapter (and official weatherman for Hayward Field if he can keep delivering days like this!).
"Folks heading out the to track meet on Saturday will be treated to a nice spring day in Eugene. Fog will greet us as we wake up, but have no fear, the sunshine will dominate the day. We'll see high temperatures in the low to mid 60's! Winds will be on the light side, coming from the North. April showers may bring May flowers, but we'll have to wait awhile for the showers to return. Enjoy the beautiful weekend! Go Ducks!"
But wait, it gets even better. UO students interested in joining the new BOWERMAN’S PACK will get free pizza and might walk out of Historic Hayward Field with a lot more than that -- not to mention a suntan.
Enjoy free pizza with the Pack at 12:45 p.m. in Powell Plaza (in the northeast corner of Hayward Field) and special giveaways for UO students, including Nike gear and more, while watching one of the country’s best teams?.
The Pack is asking that fans wear yellow, cheer loudly, and help the Ducks run, jump, and throw for every point possible in the team competition?every point counts in the tight team race! Events start on the field at 11:30 a.m. and on the track at 12:20 p.m. The meet will be televised live from 1:00 ? 3:00 p.m. on Comcast Sports Network.
The Pack will support the men’s and women’s track and field team throughout the season at Hayward Field.
University of Oregon students who cheer with the Pack for three meets this season will receive a FREE pass to join the Pack at the Pac-10 Championships, one of the country’s most anticipated meets, May 16-17 at Hayward Field. Each meet, you’ll also have a chance to enter a drawing for awesome prizes.
