EUGENE, Ore. - The Oregon softball team hosts Civil War rival Oregon State in the first-ever "Pink out the Park" promotion on Saturday, April 11th at 1:00 P.M.
Wear Pink!
Duck fans are encouraged to ?Pink Out’ the game in honor of breast cancer awareness.
Awareness & Donations
All donations collected at the game will go to the Willamette Valley Cancer Center Foundation. The community-based Willamette Valley Cancer Center Foundation helps low income patients and their families shoulder the burden through an individualized grant program that provides support for their unique situations.
Silent Auction
In an effort to raise more money for the cause, fans are encouraged to bid on a variety of silent auction items at the game donated by the Oregon Softball team. Auction items will be available at the marketing table inside the entrance to Howe Field. Some of the items include:
- Game-worn Pink jerseys (Auction ends at First Pitch - 1:00 P.M.)
- Softball autographed by the 2009 Oregon softball team
- Lunch with Head Coach Kathy Arendsen
- Opportunity to throw out the first pitch at the Oregon vs. UCLA game on Sunday, April 19th
