Mid May has to be one of the most difficult times of the
year for diehard college football fans. This is the time period near the
beginning of 'The Gap' - otherwise known to teams coming off bowl appearances
as the year's longest stretch of the offseason. Spring ball is over, and
players won't don jerseys with numbers on them again until early August.
It's also a dry time for bloggers, who are reduced to
filling cyberspace with random lists as they tick off the days leading up to
the first snap of fall camp. In lieu of typing up my own chart of Top 5 Pac-10
Coaching Game Faces, I'll stay somewhat traditional and run down the Ducks'
post-spring, pre-fall depth chart.
