Party At The Park Featuring The Valley Boys Set For Sunday?s Season Finale

EUGENE, Ore. ? Oregon has announced it will host a Party at the Park featuring The Valley Boys on Sunday, during baseball’s season finale against Arizona, to thank Duck fans for their overwhelming support of the Oregon baseball program in 2009.
Tickets are still available for this weekend’s final regular season series with the Wildcats at PK Park, including Sunday’s game, scheduled for a noon start. For ticket information, CLICK HERE.
Oregon has also delivered 150 tickets to the Oregon National Guard and their families to attend Sunday’s finale.
The Party at the Park featuring the Valley Boys is a free event, and fans without tickets to Sunday’s game can enter PK Park following the conclusion of Sunday’s contest to enjoy the postgame festivities.
Also an important note will be the groundbreaking of Phase II, which will take place following Sunday’s game as well.
Below is a rundown of events planned for Sunday:
? The party kicks off when the gates open at 11 a.m. - one hour prior to game time...all fans will receive a set of Oregon baseball cards when they enter PK Park.
? All University of Oregon students in attendance will receive a voucher for a free hot dog and soda.
? Prior to the game’s start, University President Dave Frohnmayer will throw out the honorary first pitch to commemorate Oregon’s return of baseball and to thank him for his leadership in athletics during his presidency.
? During the game, prizes will be given away every inning.
? After the game the gates will open, and local band The Valley Boys will be playing, while the Oregon baseball team will be on the field and available to sign autographs.
? There will also be games for children and food available for purchase during the party.
