Beetles. Serna was 3-for-5 with two runs scored and a stolen base...staying in the Northwoods League, Danny

baseman John Tommasini, also the younger brother of Duck center fielder Caleb
Tommasini...sticking with the Honkers, Oregon right-hander Scott McGough pitched
two innings of a combined shutout as Rochester blanked the St. Cloud
River Bats 3-0 on Sunday. McGough tossed two innings of scoreless baseball and
struck out one...Oregon second
baseman Josh Hogan made back-to-back starts for the Corvallis Knights on Saturday
and Sunday. He picked up a hit in each game, but the Knights lost both
to the Bellingham Bells...in Hawaii, Sean Potkay made two starts at fist base for the Waimea Waves. Potkay had one hit in the Waves 4-3 victory over the Waikiki Surfers on Saturday and scored a run in Waimea's 7-4 loss to the Oahu Paddlers on Sunday...Oregon outfielders Antony Kreitz and Kenny Bartz are both off to sizzling starts for the Kauai Menehunes...in two games, Kreitz is batting a league-leading .667 with three runs scores, two doubles, five RBIs, a .889 slugging percentage, a .700 on-base percentage and two stolen bases. Bartz is hitting .300 with three runs scored, three RBIs, three hits, one triple, a .500 slugging percentage, one stolen base and one assist from the outfield. In Saturday's 10-4 victory over the Hawaii Aliis, Bartz got the start in right field while Kreitz manned left...Bartz tripled, stole a base and scored two runs, while Kreitz was 3-for-5 with four RBIs, a double and stolen base...on Sunday, the Menehunes fell, 11-8, to the Waikiki Surfers...Kreitz moved up to fifth in lineup and was 3-for-4 with an RBI...Bartz moved to center field and was 2-for-5 with two RBIs.
