Walker's Pace: NCAA Entries Released, Rupp and Baker Added to "Tuesdays in Track Town"

Two members of Oregon's NCAA Championships traveling contingent, Galen Rupp and Keshia Baker, have been added to tonight's "Tuesdays in Track Town" town hall meeting. The 60 minute session begins at 7 p.m. in the Bowerman Building and will also feature Nick Symmonds of Oregon Track Club Elite, the reigning USA 800 meter champion,and Oregon Associate Athletic Director Vin Lananna.
And speaking of Oregon's championships contingent, the NCAA has released its official list of entries for the 2009 meet. No surprises for the Ducks, as Mattie Bridgmon (women's 10,000 meters) Ashley McCrea (women's javelin), Marshall Ackley (decathlon), Scott Wall (men's 5,000 meters) and Diego and Danny Mercado (men's 10,000 meters) were all given at-large bids to the championships. That brings Oregon's contingent to 29 -- 16 men and 13 women.
