GoDucks.com Student-Athlete of the Week - Sonja Newcombe
Oregon senior Sonja Newcombe has been named GoDucks.com's student-athlete of the week for the week of August 31st- September 4th.
Newcombe led No. 14 UO to a 3-0 record in the Oregon Classic this past weekend and was the consensus tourney MVP. In the three matches and nine sets, the returning All-Pac-10 and All-Region choice paced the team in kills (30) and digs (25) for the tourney, and ranked second in points (37.5) and assists (4), and third in blocks (7)Past GoDucks.com Student-Athletes of the Week
