GoDucks.com Student-Athlete of the Week - Jen Stoltenberg
Oregon junior Jen Stoltenberg has been named the GoDucks.com student-athlete of the week for the week of September 7- September 11.
Stoltenberg found Danielle Sweeney in the 82nd minute to equalize the match as the University of Oregon soccer team battled to a 1-1 draw with Colgate. Stoltenberg had a career high nine total shots in the match which ties her for second all-time at the UO for shots in a single-match- matching former Duck great Nicole Garbin.
She also led the ducks to a 2-1 upset over No. 15 Colorado by scoring her second and third goals of the season. Her fist goal was unassisted in the 15th minute when she dribbled past CU defenders and beat the goalkeeper, Kara Linder. Her second goal of the contest came in the 63rd minute, another unassisted score where she dribbled past a CU defender before putting it past Linder.
