Oregon Sports Network to Televise Pepsi, UCLA Track Meets

EUGENE, Ore. -- Oregon’s next two home track meets, the April 10 Pepsi Team Invitational and the April 17 UCLA dual, will be televised live by the Oregon Sports Network and will be broadcast on Comcast Sports Net, OSN General Manager Shelly Jordan announced Friday.
Both meets will air from 12-2 p.m. Pacific on those Saturdays.
The announcing team is Joe Giansante and Tom Jordan.
Comcast Sports Net (locally Comcast Cable channel 37/737HD) can be seen throughout western Oregon and Washington, as well as in Bend, Ore., and Spokane, Wash.
The Pepsi Team Invitational will feature the defending NCAA men’s and women’s champions, Texas A&M, versus the 2009 national runners-up in Oregon. The Pepsi will also include Pac-10 rival Washington, as well as Big XII power Missouri. Illinois will join the men’s competition for a rare five-team meet.
A week later, Oregon and UCLA will meet in a men’s dual for the third straight year. Last year’s exciting meet was won by Oregon on the last event, the 4x400 meter relay.
