Ed Dickson Now a Baltimore Raven

The long anticipated professional career of Oregon's all-time receiving leader among tight ends is finally a reality. Ed Dickson became the second UO player selected in the 2010 NFL Draft, going to the Baltimore Ravens as the sixth pick of Round 3 (70th overall).

The Ducks' lone All-Pac-10 first team selection in 2009 played in all 52 games during his Oregon career, starting the final 39, and his 124 receptions and 1,557 receiving yards are the most at the position in school history.

Dickson joined teammate T.J. Ward, who went 38th overall to the Cleveland Browns, among players taken during the second day of the three-day event. Rounds 4-7 will take place Saturday.

Dickson was the second Pac-10 tight end off the board. He is the fourth Oregon tight end drafted since 2002.
