EUGENE, Ore. -- The University of Oregon soccer team will play five matches in the 2010 spring exhibition season. The Ducks have contests against Oregon State, Portland, Santa Clara, Washington and the U-14 Boys Eugene Metro FC.
STOLTENBERG, MILES MAKING THEIR WAY UP CAREER CHARTS
Senior-to-be Jen Stoltenberg and junior-to-be Cody Miles are making their marks on the career charts at Oregon. Stoltenberg, a forward from Mission Viejo, Calif., ranks third all-time in career points (55), third in assists (13), fourth in shots (153) and tied for fourth in goals (21). Miles, a goalkeeper from Salem, Ore., is tied for second in career shutouts (11), third in goalkeeper wins (18) and fifth in saves (120).
2010 SCHEDULE RELEASED
Oregon announced its finalized 2010 fall schedule which includes 11 non-conference opponents in addition to the nine-game Pac-10 Conference schedule. The 20-game regular season kicks off with five straight home games at Pape’ Field, beginning on Friday, Aug. 20 against Boise State. Oregon will play 10 games at home throughout the season which will include five non-conference opponents and five Pac-10 opponents. Non-conference play ends with two road games against Santa Clara and University of Portland. Pac-10 play will begin with three home matches against Oregon State (October 8), UCLA (October 15), and USC (October 17).
DUCKS ADD FIVE PLAYERS TO 2010 ROSTER
Oregon has added five newcomers to the roster this offseason. The Ducks welcomed transfers Lindsay Parlee and Mo Fitzgerald, who are already enrolled and working out with the team, and await the arrival of prep players Achijah Berry, Brynne Konkel and Brittanie Sakajian who will join the squad in the fall of 2010.

STOLTENBERG, LIBKE HONORED BY PAC-10
Freshman midfielder Scout Libke was named to the 2009 Pac-10 All-Freshman Team and junior forward Jen Stoltenberg was once again named honorable mention all-conference.
Stoltenberg posted a UO single-season record of 26 points on 10 goals and six assists this season. She was also named honorable mention all-league following her sophomore season, where she tied the school record with 25 points on 10 goals and five assists.
Libke, from Portland, Ore., had 10 points on three goals and four assists in her first collegiate season at an influential position in the Oregon midfield. Libke became the second straight Oregon student-athlete to be recognized as one of the conference’s best newcomers, as goalkeeper Cody Miles was selected to the all-freshman team last year.
ERICKSON WORKS WITH U.S. U-18 NATIONAL TEAM
Head coach Tara Erickson resumed her duties with the U.S. Under-18 Women’s National Team earlier this year with a seven-day training camp at the Home Depot Center in Carson, Calif. The training camp ran Jan. 10-17, the first session for the team working under U.S head coach Dave Chesler.
Erickson was appointed to the U-18 coaching staff in early 2009. She coached at the U.S. Super Team Camp last January, working with both the U-20 and U-18 teams at the Olympic Training Center in Chula Vista, Calif. Erickson also worked the U-18 Women’s National Team Camps the following April and June at the Home Depot Center.
Both Erickson and sophomore forward Julie Armstrong participated in the U.S. Youth National Team Camp last July in Boulder, Colo., an event which featured both the Canadian and United States U-18 and U-20 Women’s National Teams.
DUCKS WELL REPRESENTED ON PAC-10 ALL-ACADEMIC TEAMS
The 2009 Pacific-10 Conference Women’s Soccer All-Academic teams featured eight Oregon players. Senior defender Dani Oster (3.71 GPA, business administration) was named to the first team, while senior midfielder Adriana Montes (3.67, curriculum and teaching) and junior forward Jen Stoltenberg (3.58, business administration) received second team recognition.
Five other Oregon players received honorable mention Pac-10 All-Academic recognition: senior Danielle Sweeney (Pleasanton, Calif.), juniors Kirstie Kuhns (Pleasanton, Calif.), Rianna Mansfield (Eugene, Ore.) and Mercedes Walters (Mission Viejo, Calif.) and sophomore Taylor Jones (Newport Beach, Calif.).
