Walker's Pace: Wheating's 1,500, Updated Schedule, Live Results
Saturday, May 1, 5:00 a.m. PDT
Did you see Andy Wheating's meet record (and
NCAA top time this season) 3:37.83 in the 1,500 meters last night? It
was an awsome performance with the classic Wheating kick off the
Bowerman Curve. We've got the video right here FREE!
Saturday;s schedule of the Oregon Relays has been juggled a bit with the men's 10,000 meters moving to 10 a.m. Click here for an updated meet schedule.
Hoping for continued nice weather, too. Here's the official word from the official Hayward forecaster, Bobby Corser, President of the American Meteorological Society, Portland chapter:
Saturday: What looked like a really nice day on Saturday has
changed a bit. There will be a chance of showers early Saturday before
the sun starts to come out. An early sprinkle will give way to partly
cloudy skies and temperatures in the upper 50's. The wind will start
off from the west and then change over to the south as the afternoon
progresses. Grab your favorite Oregon sweatshirt and a warm drink and
head over to see Oregon in action.
