Seven Ducks Named MPSF All-Academic

The Oregon women's lacrosse team received seven Mountain Pacific Sports Federation All-Academic Team selections for the 2009-10 season, the league announced on Friday.
Kelly Jablonski, Kerry McCulloch, Callie Wagner, Dominique Christiansen, Lara Bennett, Anna Swicklik and Kaitlyn Pasko were all honored by the MPSF for their play on the field and performance in the classroom.
It is a first-time selection for all seven Ducks.
To be eligible for the MPSF All-Academic Team, student-athletes must have a 3.0 cumulative GPA or better, be at least a sophomore academically, have completed one full year at their current academic institution and have competed in at least 50-percent of their team's games that season.
The Ducks had four nominations last season, due in large part to a freshman laden roster.
