Ducks Host ?Pack PK? Memorial Day Weekend

EUGENE, Ore. – The University of Oregon baseball program will host a fan appreciation weekend as the Ducks play their final regular season series of the year with California in town beginning on Friday.
For all three games against California this weekend at PK Park, Oregon will offer $5 bleacher seats for its faithful fan base, as the No. 21 Ducks take on the Golden Bears in a final push for what hopes to be a postseason berth.
On Friday, Oregon will host Armed Forces Day Presented by Navy. Veterans and current active duty military will receive a free ticket by showing their military ID at ticket office window prior to Friday’s 7 p.m. first pitch. The first 500 fans through the gates will also receive a coupon for a free personal pan pizza courtesy of Pizza Hut.
On Saturday, it will be the first-ever movie night at PK Park. All children ages 12 and under will receive a free ticket when they bring their glove to the game and present it at ticket office window prior to the 6 p.m. first pitch. All fans are encouraged to stay after the game and watch “The Sandlot” from the PK Park video board. Fans will be allowed access to the outfield at PK, and during the game popcorn will be on the menu for free.
Sunday will be Fan Appreciation Day at PK Park. Similar to last season, the Ducks will host a post-game party with team on the field to celebrate the 2010 season. An autograph session with the Oregon baseball team will also take place after the game.
Before Sunday’s 1 p.m. first pitch, the first 750 fans through the gates will receive the third and final set of Oregon baseball cards presented by Pepsi. Also, Sunday will mark the final home game for seniors Ryan Fleckenstein, Jett Hart, Justin LaTempa, Geoff Nichols, Curtis Raulinaitis, Eddie Rodriguez and Zack Thornton. There will be small ceremony prior to Sunday’s first pitch to honor those seniors.

The PK Park Ticket office, located in the North Ticket Office on Martin Luther King, Jr., Blvd., opens 90 minutes prior to game time.
