Three Ducks Named to Pac-10 All-Academic Teams
EUGENE, Ore. - The Oregon men's and women's tennis teams had three representatives on the Pac-10 All-Academic squads, commissioner Larry Scott and the conference announced Tuesday. Duncan MacDonald-Korth was selected to the Pac-10 All-Academic First-Team while Pavlina Smatova was named to the second-team. Trudie du Toit was an honorable mention.
This is MacDonald-Korth's second-straight first-team award after being selected after his sophomore season last year. His 3.82 GPA was the third-highest among first-team selections.
It is a first-time honor for both Smatova and du Toit.
To be eligible for selection to the academic team, a student-athlete must have a minimum 3.0 overall grade-point average and be either a starter or significant contributor.
