3:36 p.m. PST
And Youngblood is the ninth and final jumper to advance to the long jump finals, which will get underway momentarily.
3:31 p.m. PST
CORRECTTION on Youngblood: She had a best mark of 20-2.25/6.15m on her third jump of the preliminaries. That looks to be among the top four in her heat, and will hopefully advance her to the final, pending the results of flight two. The mark of 19-7.75 came on her second attempt - apologies, it's been a long day for the 'Pace!
3:22 p.m. PST
In the women's long jump, Jamesha Youngblood has a best mark of 19-7.75 and was sixth in her heat.
2:29 p.m. PST
Mac Fleet finished eighth in the preliminaries of the men's mile in 4:08.16 and did not advance.
2:19 p.m. PST

Evening preliminaries are under way and Jordan Hasay cruised to the final of the women's mile by winning her heat in 4:39.41. She eased to the lead with 300 meters remaining and coasted home.
In the second heat, Zoe Buckman held the lead for most of the race as both she and Anne Kesselring advanced to Saturday's final. Buckman won in a personal best 4:35.47 (third in school hostory), with Kesselring third in 4:36.41.
For the record, Theisen sets meet, collegiate, Gilliam Indoor Stadium and Oregon records with her personal-best winning total of 4,540 points in the pentathlon. The Ducks are on the board with 10 points.
1:01 p.m. PST
Brianne Theisen has won the pentathlon for the second straight year, setting a meet and collegiate record with 4,540 points! More details momentarily.
12:48 p.m. PST
Entering the final event, Theisen has a 35 point lead on Nebraska's Chantae McMillan. That translates into about a 3.5 second edge for the 800 meters. Theisen could also be looking at a number of records. She needs to run 2:14.87 to break the meet record (Hyleas Fountain, Georgia, 4,412 points, 2004), 2:14.09 to break her own collegiate record (4,507) and 2:11.10 to break the Canadian record (4,550, Jill Ross-Giffen, 1982).
12:18 p.m. PST
In the pentathlon long jump, Theisen had her best leap on her final attempt, going 19-6.75.
In the heptathlon, Klech set a personal best with a shot put of 35-0.5/10,68m. He's now 13th with 2,277 points.
11:08 a.m. PST
Theisen struggled a bit in the shot put, throwing 40-7.5 on her final attempt. That still left her comfortably in the lead with 2,765 points, which was also 14 points ahead of her collegiate record pace from that meet in Seattle.
In the heptathlon, Klech had a best mark of 24-1 in the long jump. He's in fifth through two events with 1,750 points.
10:26 a.m. PST
Theisen leads the pentathlon with 2,079 points. Kiana Profit of Maryland is second with 1,953 points. Meanwhile in the heptathlon, David Klech opened by running 7.08 in the 60 meters. That was the sixth-best time on the day.
10:12 a.m. PST
Big time clearace at 6-0.5 for Theisen, another on the first attempt (five in a row). That mark does four things - sets a pentathlon personal best, breaks the indoor school high jump record that she shared with Laurel Roberts, sets the collegiate pentathlon high jump record and sets the NCAA Championships pentathlon high jump record. She then missed at three attempts at 6-1.5, but still moved into the overall pentathlon lead, and is ahead of her collegiate record-setting pace when she scored 4,507 at the UW Invitational.
9:59 a.m. PST
Now it's getting fun. Four straight first bar clearances for Theisen, this one easily at 5-11.25. And with that clearance, she has won the pentathlon high jump.
9:50 a.m. PST
Three first bar clearances in a row for Theisen, this one at 5-10. The bar quivered ever so slightly, but did not fall.
9:42 a.m. PST
Another first attempt clearance for Theisen at 5-8.75.
9:31 a.m. PST
Theisen cleared the bar on her first attempt in the high jump (5-7.75).
9:00 a.m. PST
The pentathlon is under way and Brianne Theisen has set a combined events personal best in the 60 meter hurdles, running 8.35 seconds. That matched her overall PR set at the MPSF Championships. The time was good for 1,050 points and was second overall behind Chelsea Carter of West Virginia, who went 8.29.
