During the NCATA National Championships this weekend at Matthew Knight Arena, Oregon junior Kelsey Rowell put on a stellar performance to help lift the Ducks past the Maryland Terrapins.

The Ducks got out to an early lead that was maintained by Rowell's performance in the ariel pass. She defeated the individual champion, Season Daugherty, by a score of 8.60-8.35.

On the year, Oregon finished at 8-1 with a championship win over Maryland, the pre-season NCATA favorite.

Rowell, from Sunset High School in Hillsboro, Ore., is only a junior and will be an asset to the team for next season.
