Ducks Close Exhibition Season Sunday Against PSU

EUGENE, Ore. --
The University of Oregon soccer team will host Portland State at 2 p.m. (PT) on Sunday in an exhibition contest at Pape’ Field in Eugene. The match is the last of UO’s five spring exhibition matches.
The contest was originally slated for an 11 a.m. start, but was changed to 2 p.m. due to the events surrounding the Eugene Marathon.
The Ducks-Vikings contest will be the only chance to see UO play at Pape’ Field before the 2011 regular-season home opener against UNLV on Aug. 28. The Ducks will play eight home matches in 2011, with five of their 11 Pac-12 contests to be played in Eugene.
Oregon returns six starters from last season’s squad that posted a 7-10-3 overall record and went 3-5-1 in the Pac-10 conference.
