The Caldwell, Idaho native shot a four-over 146 (67-79) on the par-71 Headwaters Club course at Teton Springs in Victor, Idaho. Her victory also earned a bid to the 36th Junior PGA Championship at Sycamore Hills Golf Club in Fort Wayne, Ind., August 2-5.

Two months ago, Hipp won her second consecutive Idaho prep championship, this time by an 11-stroke margin on the Centennial Golf Course in Nampa, Idaho.
Among other notable accomplishments on her resume, she was tabbed 26th in the Golfweek class last year after she advanced to the round of 16 in the U.S. Girls Junior Championship, placed fourth in the Trusted Choice Big I National Championship, and won the Dropping Junior Championship. She also claimed the 2008 Idaho Women’s Amateur and Idaho Junior Golf Association age-group titles from 2005-09.
Hipp is part of a talented three-member freshman class in 2011-12 that includes Cassy Isagawa (Wailuku, Hawai’i) and Monica Petchakan (Encino, Calif.) and will help ease the graduation of seniors Monika Graf, Kendra Little and Erica Omlid.
UO opens its season in the Golfweek Conference Challenge, Sept. 19-21 in Vail, Colo.
Last year under second-year head coach Ria Scott, the Ducks sported their all-time season best-average (299.64) by more than a stroke. Earlier in the campaign, UO won the Dick McGuire / Branch Law Firm Invitational (295-296-290-881 (+5)) and Pacific Coast Intercollegiate (304-297-290-891), and also celebrated an individual win by then-senior Erica Omlid in the former tourney.
