Lacrosse Faces Marist In Neutral Contest

The Ducks are fresh off a 10-9 victory over Old Dominion on Mar. 10 at Pape' Field.
After leading much of the first half, Oregon gave up multiple unanswered goals causing the match to turn into a tie, but sophomore Shannon Propst's goal with 50 seconds left secured the win for UO.
Oregon was led by sophomore Nikki Puszcz's three-goal outing, while also getting two goals apiece from Propst and Jess Drummond. Jana Drummond and Propst also added two assists each.
In goal, sophomore Caroline Federighi (3-3) notched her third straight double-digit save outing with 10 to earn the win.
Propst is the Ducks' leading offense provider as she has tallied 15 points on 11 goals and four assists.
For the Red Foxes, they recorded their first win of the 2012 season against St. Mary's last Sunday (Mar. 11), 13-12 in Denver. On Mar. 13, Marist battled the host-Denver, but fell 16-11.
Marist has five Red Foxes that have already reached double figures in the point category, led by 18 points from Ariel Kramer on nine goals and nine assists.
Ashley Casiano has been the primary goalkeeper for the Red Foxes.
The Ducks have not faced Marist since the 2005 and 2006 seasons, where UO beat the Red Foxes on both occasions, 19-11(3/18/05) and 19-6 (3/28.06).

- The win over Old Dominion gave Oregon their first victory over a Colonial Athletic Conference (CAA) member in eight tries (1-7).
- Jana Drummond remains in fifth all-time in points scored with 146.
- With 10 saves in Saturday's match, Caroline Federighi sits in third place all-time with 140 career saves.
- Jess Drummond recorded one ground ball to tie her for fifth all-time with her sister, Jana Drummond.
