Kristina Barrett - Student-Athlete of the Week
Kristina Barrett from Oregon lacrosse is this week’s
Student Athlete of the Week! Over the weekend, Barrett scored five goals and added four assists, helping the Ducks defeat Marist and San Diego State.
Against Marist, Barrett got the Ducks started with an assist on the opening goal by Jana Drummond. Barrett would later add three goals and another assist to give the Ducks the 17-6 win Barrett continued her solid play against San Diego State, recording two goals and two more assists.
With the win against San Diego State, the Ducks moved to 2-0 in conference play this year. Look for Barrett and the rest of the Oregon lacrosse team to keep the momentum going when they return to Papé Field on April 6th to face Fresno State at 4:00 PM.
