EXCELLENCE. You see it in our world-class facilities, our passionate fans, our exciting brand and our commitment to the “student” in “student-athlete.” The last several years have seen the Ducks capture conference, tournament and national championships in Football, Men’s Basketball, Men’s Indoor and Outdoor Track and Field, Men’s Cross Country, Women’s Cross Country, Softball, Women’s Lacrosse, Acrobatics and Tumbling, and Women’s Indoor and Outdoor Track and Field.
We’ve come this far thanks to creativity, innovation and the philanthropy of our donors. Your support is more vital than ever in maintaining this elite level of success that has come to define the Oregon Ducks.
Athletic Excellence Fund
By giving to the Athletic Excellence Fund, you are helping Oregon Athletics grow as one of the premier programs in college athletics. We have reached an unprecedented level of success thanks to creative vision, dedicated leadership and the private support of our incredible donor base. With the rise in tuition and other related expenses, achieving this mission has become increasingly more difficult over time. Our goal remains the same: to generate the revenue necessary to maintain athletic and academic success. The only way we can continue to compete for championships and provide the best student-athlete experience in the country is with your continued support.

Sport-Specific Philanthropy*
Broad-based competitive excellence has become a hallmark of Oregon Athletics. It is the only school in Directors Cup history to finish in the top 15 with 18 NCAA sports or less. The Ducks have done it four times. Gifts of any size can be directed towards the individual sport of your choice.
*Sport-specific philanthropy does not count towards per seat or parking contributions for football or men’s basketball.
Women In Flight
The purpose of the Women In Flight initiative is to raise awareness and financial support for University of Oregon women’s athletics with the goal of achieving and maintaining broad-based excellence across all women’s programs.
The women competing for the University of Oregon have taken part in one of the most prolific decades in history. In the past ten years, we have amassed 162 All-Americans, 9 team national champions, and 21 individual national champions. We’ve had 14 national or conference players of the year, 8 team conference championships, and 47 individual conference champions. Academically during that time, Oregon has also had 23 female Academic All-Americans.

The only way we can continue to compete for championships and provide the best student-athlete experience in the country is with your continued support. You can help us elevate the level of awareness and competitiveness of these programs by directing gifts specifically to the advancement of female student-athletes.
Gifts made to Women In Flight help Oregon Athletics invest into our women’s sports programs in many ways, including:
- Scholarship Support
- Recruiting Budgets
- Travel Budgets
- Facility Enhancement
- Coaches Retention
- Programmatic Support
Recurring annual, one-time gifts and endowments can be designated toward Women In Flight. Deferred gifts are also a way to leave a lasting legacy with the Women of Oregon. The Duck Athletic Fund and Office of Gift Planning are happy to work with you on a deferred gift toward Women In Flight.

Deferred Giving
The Len Casanova Society was established as an affiliate of, and complement to, the Arnold Bennett Hall Legacy Society. It honors those with the foresight, ability and willingness to support future University of Oregon student-athletes through their individual estate plan.
ESTATE PLANNING
Donor support allows Oregon Athletics to recruit the most promising student-athletes, retain the best coaches and staff, and provide a world-class experience for every Duck program. You can continue this legacy of support for generations to come by including Oregon Athletics in your estate plan. The Duck Athletic Fund and Office of Gift Planning can assist you along with your advisor as you prepare your will. We can provide sample bequest language to ensure that in the future your gift can be used as you intend.
LIFE-INCOME GIFTS
By funding a life-income gift, you can receive payments for life and an income tax charitable deduction. If you use appreciated assets to fund your gift, you can also reduce capital gains taxes. Two of the most common life-income gifts are charitable gift annuities and charitable remainder trusts. In exchange for a gift of cash or stock, you will receive fixed payments for life. Payout rates are based on your age at the time of the gift — the older you are, the higher your rate.

Oregon Elite
Oregon Elite is an elevated service program for our highest level donors. The gifts from these generous Ducks help Oregon continue to grow into a world-class university and sporting brand. Members experience special attention and account “touches” throughout the year as reminders of our appreciation.
Scholarship Giving Making A Difference
The inner discipline and natural competitive instincts that fuel talented young athletes’ success in sports can be a huge advantage in the game of life. At Oregon, our student-athletes are dedicated to earning degrees, becoming leaders and winning championships. Their ability to achieve these goals is aided by outstanding support from our alumni, fans, parents and friends.
One-third of Oregon Athletics’ operating budget is committed to providing tuition, room, board, travel and training for student-athletes. As tuition and related costs continue to rise, private support becomes more critical than ever for the success of our 19 varsity sports and nearly 500 student-athletes.
The NCAA heavily regulates these scholarships, which means there is a great amount of emphasis placed on not only talent but also academic record. Your scholarship will motivate recipients to earn good grades and graduate. Your gift also will strengthen recruitment by ensuring that University of Oregon student-athletes receive scholarship support equal to Oregon’s peers in the NCAA and Pac-12 Conference.

Scholarship Club
Your gift to the Scholarship Club is one of the most important ways you can help Oregon Athletics. An annual gift of $25,000 will provide the full cost of an individual scholarship to the Duck Athletic Fund. You can directly support Oregon Athletics in providing an outstanding athletic and academic experience while earning the Priority Points and benefits associated with current-year DAF giving (1 point per $10 donated).
A gift to the Scholarship Club does not require a multi-year commitment.
Giving Benefits
Donors who are part of the Scholarship Club are also entitled to the following benefits:
- Named student-athlete you’ll be connected with throughout the year
- Current-year Priority Points
- Invitations to special Athletics Department events
- Student-Athlete Scholarship Dinner
- Football Post-Season Banquet
- Athletics Hall of Fame Banquet
