Hoops Fans Heard: 2015-16 Basketball Season Tickets Priced Dramatically Lower
EUGENE, Ore. – Oregon has dramatically lowered season ticket prices for the 2015-16 men’s basketball season – some by as much as $500 – in an effort to make games at Matthew Knight Arena more affordable for everyone. “Our basketball team plays an exciting brand of basketball and has achieved unprecedented success over the past few seasons,” said Oregon Director of Athletics Rob Mullens. “With the reduction in prices and increased student support, we want to recreate the best homecourt advantage in college basketball. For fewer than $10 per game, fans will be able to see one of the nation’s top teams, which represents one of the best values in college athletics.”

Overall, tickets for the 2015-16 season will be 34 percent less than 2014-15, with some sections even lower than that, since the five-year construction fee period has concluded.
Prices for Backcourt Premier, located in the lower half of the 100 level, were reduced $500 from $1,400, which included a $300 construction fee and a $400 Duck Athletic Fund donation, to $900 ($500 for the ticket and $400 for the annual donation).
Other reductions included a savings of $500 for Midcourt Premier located in the lower half of the 100 Level, $200 for Midcourt Loge, located in the upper midcourt section of the 100 Level, $298 for Backcourt Loge, located throughout the 100 Level and $214 for Midcourt Terrance and Lower Reserved, which includes parts of both the 100 and 200 Level.
The most affordable season tickets, Backcourt Terrace in the 200 Level, remained $150.
In addition, individual game tickets have been reduced as well. There will be $10 single-game tickets available for all Pac-12 and non-conference games in certain sections of the Arena.
Oregon returns three starters, including all-conference honoree Elgin Cook and all-Pac-12 freshman Dillon Brooks and Jordan Bell, off the 2014-15 team that went 26-10 overall, finished second in the league with a 13-5 mark, and advanced to the third round of the NCAA Tournament for the third straight season.
The Ducks will host nine Pac-12 games, including NCAA participants UCLA and Utah, and NIT national champion Stanford, as well as Baylor out of the Big 12 next season at Matthew Knight Arena.
