Ducks No. 2 Overall Seed in Tourney

EUGENE, Ore. – The Pac-12 champion Oregon softball team has earned the No. 2 overall seed in the 2015 NCAA Championship and will host the Eugene Regional this week at Howe Field, starting Thursday, with Fresno State, North Dakota State and BYU in attendance.
Television did not pick up the Eugene Regional for broadcast but every game will be streamed live for free at GoDucks.com. KWVA radio will provide the commentary for the video streams with a free radio streams available online as well.
A $30 all-session pass is now for sale at GoDucks.com. Only if the all-session passes do not sell out will single-game tickets be offered.
The Ducks have advanced to the NCAA Tournament each year under head coach Mike White, now in his sixth season. He has a 15-0 record in NCAA Regional games.
Oregon will host a regional for the fourth straight year. BYU was in the Eugene Regional in 2012 and 2013. The Ducks defeated BYU twice in the 2012 regional and once in the 2013 regional.
Oregon is 8-4 all-time against BYU, while it is 1-0 against North Dakota State and 6-30 versus Fresno State. The Ducks beat the Bulldogs 3-0 this year on March 7 at the Judi Garman Classic in Fullerton, Calif. Oregon has won five of the last six meetings with Fresno State. Oregon’s last meeting with BYU was a loss, 6-5, last season in Provo, Utah.
