Cheserek, Prandini Named Academic All-District

EUGENE, Ore. – In addition to their success in competition, Oregon track and field student-athletes Edward Cheserek and Jenna Prandini were named to the Academic All-District team, Friday.
Cheserek, a sophomore, currently holds a 3.34 GPA while pursuing a degree in pre-business administration. He is a seven-time NCAA Champion in track and field and cross country, winning three national championships so far in 2014-15, beginning with the individual title in cross country. He added two more during the indoor track and field championships in the mile and distance medley relay.
Prandini holds a 3.55 GPA while pursuing a degree in general social sciences. The redshirt junior is an 11-time All-American and has won two national championships in the long jump, including one earlier this season at the NCAA Indoor Championships.
