Oregon Volleyball Camps Fast Approaching

EUGENE, Ore. - Oregon volleyball’s series of summer camps is fast approaching, with five different camps taking place from July 6-19 at Matthew Knight Arena.
Oregon’s summer camps span the scope of skills and age ranges, for 3rd-12th grade students looking to learn the fundamentals of the game, or hone their craft to prepare for the next level of competition.
Participants will have the opportunity to work with the Oregon coaching staff led by 10-year Ducks head coach Jim Moore, along with current and former Oregon student-athletes.
Setter/Hitter Day Camp (July 6-7 & July 13-14): For athletes entering grades 7-12 who already have established themselves as a setter or hitter and want to improve on one of these skills. This session focuses specifically on improving hitting or setting techniques for improved execution during game situations.
Defensive Camp (July 8): This skill-specific camp focuses on passing and defensive techniques, including forearm passing, overhead passing, digging, and diving. This camp is open to all levels.
Team Camp (July 10-12): The Oregon Coaching staff, athletes and local school coaches will be on hand to guide your team through tactics, techniques and the finer points of the game to put you a step ahead of your opponents.
Elite Camp (July 17-19): Our Elite Training Camp offers a high level of training and increased individual playing time for each athlete. We expect players who attend this session to be very serious about learning advanced volleyball systems and training. A positive attitude and good work ethic are a must in this intensive experience.
Youth Camp (July 13-15): These youth day camps are for 3rd - 8th grade girls and boys, with the focus on the FUNdamental skills of volleyball.
