Catch up with all nine former Oregon players currently in professional leagues around the world.
Nine former Oregon players are currently playing in professional leagues around the world, with all nine preparing to begin the 2020-21 season for teams in European professional leagues. This year, former Ducks will play in pro leagues in five different countries while the nine active ProDucks have played in 13 different countries or territories throughout their career. Two also have gained experience playing with Team USA in international events.

- Heading into third professional season - and second in Germany after playing her first pro season there followed by a year in Greece (2019-20)
- Began career in 2018 with the Aachen Ladies in Black in the Germany A1 League
- Finished 23rd in the league with 200 points while hitting .248 in her first pro season
- Spent the 2019-20 season with Aris Thessaloniki in the Greece A1 League
- Four-year letterman at Oregon earning honorable mention All-America and All-Pac-12 honors as a senior in 2017
Amanda Benson (2013-16), Viteos NUC (Switzerland), Pro Seasons: 4

- Has played for Team USA in multiple international competitions since 2017
- Helped the U.S. to a gold medal at the 2018 Pan Am Cup, finishing with a team-high nine digs in the gold medal match and starting five of the six matches
- Also played for Team USA in the FIVB Volleyball Nations League in 2018
- Won gold at the 2017 Pan Am Cup with Team USA, recording a team-leading 15 digs in the gold medal match
- Entering fourth year on the European pro circuit and second in Switzerland, after playing a season each in France (2017-18) and Germany (2018-19)
- Started pro career with Vandoeuvre-Nancy Sport Club in France in 2017
- Spent the 2018-19 season with Dresdener Sport Club in Geramny’s Bundesliga before playing for Viteos NUC in 2019-20 in Switzerland

- A 2018 AVCA All-America Honorable Mention selection and all-region honoree
- Finished ninth in program history with a .272 hitting percentage while ending four-year career with 1,011 kills, eclipsing the 1,000-kill mark in her final game as a Duck
- Recorded 245 career blocks and finished with 1,165 career points
Sonja Newcombe (2006-09), Pro Seasons: 10
- The longest-tenured active former Duck playing professionally
- Has played 10 seasons in leagues in 10 different countries (Puerto Rico – 2010, France – 2011, Turkey – 2012, 2015, Germany – 2013, Russia – 2014, China – 2016, 2017, Azerbaijan – 2016, Italy – 2017, Brazil – 2018, Romania – 2019)
- Represented the United States, playing for Team USA at the 2014 and 2017 Pan Am Cup
- A starter at the 2017 Pan Am Cup, helping lead Team USA to a gold medal
- Started every match to help the U.S. to a silver medal finish at the 2014 Pan Am Cup
- Began pro career in 2010 in the Puerto Rico Super League, earning an all-star selection and finishing as the second-leading scorer for the Ponce Leonas
- Led the France Pro A League in scoring in 2011 with 353 points in 20 matches for Nantes Volley
- First on the team in scoring and eighth in the Germany Bundesliga in 2013, leading Rote Raben Vilsbiburg to a third-place finish in the league
- Key part of Trabzon Idmanocagi’s first-ever Turkey Super League playoff appearance, finishing in the top 10 of the league in kills and points
- Helped Volei Alba Blaj to a Romanian Super League and Super Cup title in 2019
Lauren Page (2015-18), Viteos NUC (Switzerland), Pro Seasons: 2

- Playing in Switzerland for the second straight season, joining Viteos NUC for 2020-21
- Started pro career with Switzerland’s Geneve Volley in the Swiss League NLA, the top league in the country
- Finished the 2019-20 season eighth in the league in in points scored and was named match MVP five times
- A four-year letterwinner from 2015-18 who finished career with 499 kills (1.47 per set) and 284 blocks in 105 matches
- Part of NCAA Tournament teams each of her four seasons, including the Elite 8 run as a senior starter

- Going into second professional season, and first in France
- Spent first pro season with Bartoccini Fortinfissi Perugia in the Italian A1 League in 2019-20
- Left Oregon fifth all-time in a career in assists with 2,929, highlighted by 1,486 as a senior in 2018 which is the fourth-most in a season at UO
- A third-team AVCA All-American and an all-region selection as a senior
- A four-year letterwinner who helped lead the Ducks to four NCAA Tournament appearances including an Elite 8 run in 2018

Ronika Stone (2016-19), Volero Le Cannet (France), Pro Seasons: 1
WATCH
- Will begin professional career with Volero Le Cannet in the French Ligue Nationale de Volley Ligue A in 2020-21
- Left Oregon as its all-time career leader in hitting percentage at .336 and block assists with 429
- A 2018 AVCA Second-Team All-American and three-time all-region selection
- Also third in school history in total blocks with 485 and fifth in points with 1,605.5 - one of just two Ducks to currently sit in the career top 10 for both points and total blocks
- Joined Bekescsabai Roplabada (Hungary) for her second professional season in 2020-21
- Played first pro season with Nantes in the French Ligue Nationale de Volley Ligue A in 2019-20
- Helped Nantes to a second-place finish in the league at the end of the suspended season
- A two-time AVCA All-American and three-time All-Pac-12 selection during her time at Oregon
- Left Eugene in the top 10 of five different major career stat categories (Points – 4th, 1,687; Kills – 6th, 1,447; Attack Attempts – 5th, 3,985; Digs – 6th, 1,242, Service Aces – 9th, 108)
Ariana Williams (2010-13), Pro Seasons: 6
- Has played six professional seasons with three different teams, all in France
- Began pro career by playing one season with Hainaut in the French Pro A League
- Spent the next three seasons starting in 2015-16 with SENS Volleyball in the Elite Pro B League in France
- A captain for Stella Calais in the French Elite A League for the past two seasons
- Helped the Ducks to three NCAA Tournament appearances in her four years, highlighted by the 2012 Final Four run
- Finished career with 1,138 kills and a .321 hitting percentage to go along with 320 blocks
